Interim Ministry Discussions — Learning to Love my Friend(s)
Recently, two preacher friends inquired about interim ministry. They indicated an interest in the possibility of doing this and asked how I might help them explore and understand the process better. I proposed three meetings of three hours. After this, we will evaluate and decide if we would like to continue or not. Anyone who wants to be a participant is welcome.
The discussions will be held at the LaVergne church of Christ. The first meeting was Thursday, February 16, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Others may join at any time. Please let me know if you plan to attend.
At the conclusion of our last meeting, the group wanted to study and do an overview of a leadership training class I do in congregations: Learning to Love My Friend(s). We will do two sessions each Thursday that we meet. The first meeting will be Thursday, May 3. The group will schedule future sessions at that meeting. The topics are listed below:
